ADIDAS RUNNING SHOE EXPLORATION

Created for GRDS 201: Introduction to Graphic Design at SCAD, this project is an abstract exploration of the Alphatorsion Running Shoe, focusing on its energy, movement, and performance rather than its physical form. Inspired by Adidas Bounce technology—a midsole cushioning system that absorbs impact and returns energy—this project visually translates motion, comfort, and versatility into a dynamic design system.

By deconstructing the shoe’s colors, textures, typography, and patterns, I aimed to capture the sensation of speed, balance, and bounce through circular forms, layered compositions, and rhythmic typography. Each spread reflects different aspects of the shoe’s identity—momentum, impact, and responsiveness—creating a visual representation of how technology and design intersect.

By shifting the focus away from the product itself and toward its surrounding elements, this project serves as a conceptual and artistic breakdown of product identity through design.
